Built by a technician, not just a developer
Wrenchify was created by an ASE-certified automotive technician with more than 20 years of professional automotive repair experience. That time includes dealership work, independent shop experience, and real-world diagnostic problem-solving on everything from daily drivers to complex drivability concerns.
Seven years as an automotive instructor
For seven years, the founder taught automotive technology in an Associate's Degree program. That experience shaped how Wrenchify explains repairs: break the problem down, show the path forward, and help the user understand why something matters — not just what to do.
Service writer experience, too
Time spent as an automotive service writer adds another layer: understanding what car owners actually need when something goes wrong. Clear communication, honest expectations, and a straightforward next step. That same mindset is built into every diagnostic result and every invoice Wrenchify helps create.
Beyond the bay: biomedical equipment technician
The experience behind Wrenchify also includes approximately five years as a biomedical equipment technician. That background strengthened a methodical approach to troubleshooting complex systems, following diagnostic processes, paying attention to detail, and solving problems instead of simply guessing.
